Microlocks are perfect for the person seeking to lock their hair, but desires a smaller, thinner lock. Your locks have a more polished, manicured look that can be styled, curled, braided, or worn loose.  No product is used so your hair is soft, light and bouncy. Since these locks are created with a tool, they are able to be very small, yet be extremely strong.

My Microlocks are small locks created using the "Nappylocs" approach to locking and maintaining hair with a tool. This interlocking technique is an ancient way of hairlocking, and the smaller locks were popularized by the creater of "Sisterlocks", JoAnn Cornwell, with all respect given. Since then, another set of tools have been developed to create these locks that is sleek and allows the hair to lock in a tighter pattern. This helps to reduce bunching and slipping of the lock. These sterling silver tools are the tools that I use to produce my Microlocks as well as larger locks created with this interlock method. The interlocking method used to Microlock hair can be done on just about any size lock and since this method requires no product to lock, it takes less time to mature and gives you more freedom to wash your hair, style, and live your life!

The locking is started from the base of your hair to your roots and you can start with any length hair. Tension is more consistent since the base of the lock is is at the end, as oppsed to the scalp (like locks started with braids or twists).
